Welcome to Blog Hop Stop #1

A New Year comes new resolutions and new changes.  How about keeping those goals simple? With the NEW A Year to Remember collection it's easier than ever!

The A Year to Remember collection helps to make scrapbooking simple and quick.

I can not begin to tell you how much I really, really LOVE this 12 pack of paper!!

This beautiful Beach ride page was made with A Year to Remember Paper pack, the sun is from the Stickers 3 pack, then flag tags are in the Embellishments, and the Medallion Frame Chain cartridge was used to create the border.
Taking one of the caption boxes from A Year to Remember embellishments,                                      you can easy corner technique.

This paper pack has papers that work with so many events.  You could use this page for Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July even a Veteran's day. Use the Star Border Maker cartridge to make this patriotic page. Use scissors cutting the stars into 1" squares, then cut 3 - 7/16" strips for the flag "stripes". Simple and easy.  Can't get any better than that?

If you missed our first Creative Memories Border Bonanza Virtual Crop this past Saturday it was spectacular!!  I'm still trying to catch up with all the great tips, borders, pages, and projects shared there.  If you didn't get a look at it, then you missed this page that I did with the A Year to Remember collection and our sketchbook challenge.

This layout featured how you can make a "faux stitching" technique look across the top of the page by simply punching a strip using a medallion frame chain, then weave a 7/8" strip of paper through the chain.  Taking the "arrows" turning them on their side to make them look like houses for this moving page. The calendar grid helps to capture all those memories and important dates all in one page.

I'm ready to hop! Just started the blog hop, I didn't know it was going on, been a busy day.
This is great because I have a crop this weekend and hope to use a lot of these ideas to show customers the many ways to use "Year to Remember Collection".
Love the use of the corners from tag.
Like the idea of posting the calendar and writing as things happen and then doing a page to correspond with picture (s)
