Welcome to Creative Memories Easter blog hop - Stop #3
Are Eww ready for a SUPER cute blog hop??
Home Office Inspired Goggle Eyes
You'll need the following items to create these cute sheep:
- Blossum Place Punch
- Border Maker System with Picket Fence cartridge
- Medallion Frame Chain Cartridge
- Bubbles Border Cartridge
- Heart Chain Cartridge
- Original Oval Cutting System
- Creative Memories Scissors
- Black & White Card stock
To make the legs on the fence you'll use the Picket Fence Cartridge from the original border maker system and with scissors trim away area in red. The base of the sheep is created with the Blossom Place Punch. The hair is 3 of the negative space of the Medallion Frame Chain Cartridge layered on top of a oval cut with the inner green of the 3 1/8 x 3" oval
of the original cutting system. The ears are from Blossom Place Punch, trim with scissors The eyes were created from the Bubbles Cartridge.
The chicks body was created with the inner of 3 1/8 x 3" oval
of the original cutting system with red blade. The chick's head was created with the inner of 3 1/8 x 3" oval
of the original cutting system with green blade. The wings are the Blossom Place Punch. The hair was the negative space of Diamond Scroll Cartridge. The feet are the negative space of Heart Chain Cartridge. The eyes were created from Bubbles Cartridge. The beak was created with the Medallion Frame Chain Cartridge, trim up with scissors.
The egg was created by using the 4"x6" Oval cutting system with inner green blade. For the "chick's" body use 4"x6" Oval cutting system with inner blue blade using scissors to create the zig zag - cracked egg look. The wings were created with the Blossom Place punch, cut in half to create 2 wings. The eyes are from Bubbles Cartridge. The beak was created with the Medallion Frame Chain Cartridge, trim up with scissors. The feet are the negative space of Heart Chain Cartridge.
Mischievous Easter Bunny getting into your basket?
These cute baskets would be perfect with any Easter picture. Cut a border with Picket Fence Cartridge then trim paper to 1 1/2" and manual with free stand alone punch lined up so it will zig zag for the basket look. You'll need to cut one additional row for larger basket. Trim to size and then with 2 way corner round, curve the bottom of basket. Then weave a beige strip through the spaces. For the handle of larger basket use the 3 1/2 x5" Oval from the cutting system and use blue blade cut paper and then without moving the oval use the red blade to create the handle. The smaller basket you would do the same steps but using the 3 7/8 x 3" and green blade, followed by the red blade. The rabbit base is 2" circle cut with Circle cutting system. The tail is the Blossom Place Punch. The feet are blue blade Oval Cutting system and pink heart are from Heart Chain Cartridge. The egg is cut out of the Look on the Bright side paper pack and use the Circle of the Shape Maker System.

This is how you would cut base of basket. |
This Beautiful Easter Blessing page was created with the New Fresh Picks Paper Pack and Slide in cards. The "Beautiful" and two purple cards are from the Slide-in Fresh Picks pack. To make the cross, take brown paper and punch a border with the Diamond Scroll Cartridge trim with straight trimmer to 1" by 6" for the base of the cross. Then with remaining 6", cut to 4" for horizontal of cross. Use 2-way corner and round strips. Then layer the back with cream paper. Adhere them to back of brown with tape runner. Using the Medallion Frame Chain Cartridge, punch out border in cream and layer on top of the cross. The flowers were made with the Lace Flower Chain cartridge. Cut one out in dark purple and then the lighter purple on top, use scissors to trim off "lace". My FAVORITE part of this page is how the lilies turned out. These would be perfect to add to a card to make for someone. Using the 2" square from the Shape Maker system cut out two squares. Then your going to fold them like photo below and take pencil and curl the edges under to create the lily look.
The negative space created from the Lace Flower Chain cartridge was used to make the pistol of the flower. Trim with scissors two inner stems. The leaves were created by cutting Circles with the Shape maker system and then put circle back into punch to make an "oval" leave.
